Our 2nd annual celebration was a fantastic event celebrating Asian Culture and Heritage. Having Georgia Lee, the creator of the Netflix series "Partner Track," as the keynote speaker was a highlight, especially with the lively fireside chat about her career journey. Young people were engaged and had meaningful discussions with her.
Recognition of essay contest winners, Katelyn Wang (1st prize) and Maryam Mohamed (2nd prize) and Hans Yang's recitation added an educational and creative dimension to the event. The entertainment program with dance performances and a Kung Fu demonstration by young talents had been thrilling.
The fashion show and raffle drawings added an element of excitement and fun, with prizes for the winners.
The variety of Asian cuisine served, from Dim Sum to boba tea, egg tarts, and shrimp crevice, surely delighted the attendees and added to the cultural experience. The event was featured on Del Mar News:
